Agent Partnership Agreement

Pass-through entities: Pass-through entities are forms of business whose commitments, mainly in terms of taxes, go directly through the organization to the people to whom the company belongs. Standard forms of business include partnership, limited liability company, limited liability company and S company. While the idea of resolving a dispute is difficult to consider at the beginning of a partnership, partners should address it at an early stage and the agreement should address the dispute resolution process. A social contract is a contract and, as such, the partners are free to bring an action in civil court to remedy the injustice. However, partners may choose to resolve disputes in a way that avoids timely and costly civil litigation. Mediation and arbitration are common dispute resolution procedures. As agents, the actions of each partner bind both the other members of the partnership and the partnership itself. . . .
