Northampton Community College Articulation Agreements

Accept gened-to-gened and core-to-core transfer agreements — after temple evaluation and approval — general requirements for the formation of approved associate degrees instead of Temple Base or GenEd requirements. Students who enter the temple with a recognized associate degree are identified upon admission or enrollment at the university and their completion of general education through a gened transfer agreement is mentioned in the records of the students concerned. Core-to-core agreements ensure that credits granted by students who obtain an A.A. or A.S. degree at the NCC will be tailored to the essential requirements of the four-year university. The essential conditions are the general teaching of a bachelor`s degree. General education requirements vary from university to university. Students benefit from basic contracts because the entire credit obtained by The Degree Associate is applied to the four-year program without evaluating individual courses. As a general rule, there are also admission criteria for transfer students described in the agreement. Program-to-program agreements – These agreements offer one course per course, just as your colleague`s entire degree from ESU.

Program-to-program or P2P agreements are designed to allow students to have a program card required to meet both the requirements of an associate degree and the corresponding requirements of a four-year university within their primary wishes. The Double Admissions Agreement between Temple and Northampton Community College allows students to be admitted to Northampton Community College at the same time and offers the opportunity to obtain income scholarships for eligible students. Interested students must register for the Dual Admissions program before completing 30 credits, including credits from all previously visited colleges. Students are then admitted to the Temple after graduating from the community school. Click here for more information on Dual Admissions with Northampton Community College. A student with a degree from a regionally recognized college or university who registers in Northampton for an associate degression program or certificate is considered to be fulfilled, the basic general requirements of general education, with the exception of the required courses, which have been identified by the program faculty. Ask the accrediting body about the approved list of general education courses that can be transferred to each program. A graduate student from a university not recognized at the regional level has the qualifications checked on a case-by-case basis.
